Eduard was born in Vienna, Austria, and studied architecture at the ETH in Zurich Switzerland. After graduation, Eduard taught, practiced and photographed architecture. First in Zurich, Switzerland, and then after moving to the United States, he taught at the School of Architecture at Syracuse University and then at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy NY. In 1989 Eduard moved to New York City to concentrate full time on architectural photography. After 30 years in New York City, Eduard moved to Kingston NY.
